BarBrain is one of the fastest-growing SaaS start-ups for the hospitality industry. Our tool digitises inventory processes in restaurants, bars and hotels – efficiently, user-friendly and data-driven. With a growing number of qualified leads, a scalable product and strong references, we create real value for our customers every day. As a Founders Associate you work directly with the management team, gain deep insight into all areas of the business and operationally shape its growth. The role is ideal for smart generalists with ambition, entrepreneurial thinking and the desire to make a real impact.

Your responsibilities (depending on onboarding & focus):

You take on operational responsibility in strategically important areas and keep the founding team’s back free – in projects, processes and priorities.

  • Direct collaboration with the management team in day-to-day operations
  • Planning and execution of strategic projects (e.g. market analyses, expansion plans, new product features)
  • Support with investor relations and preparation of reportings
  • Taking on tasks in business development, operations or sales – depending on need & skill set
  • Creating presentations, decision papers and analyses
  • Structuring internal processes – from recruiting to customer feedback
  • Communication with partners, customers and service providers
  • Sparring partner for new ideas, MVPs and decisions in a fast-paced setup

What you bring:

  • Initial hands-on experience in a start-up, consulting or tech environment (e.g. internships, working-student roles)
  • High self-motivation, entrepreneurial thinking and a hands-on mentality
  • Strong organisational and execution skills
  • Tech affinity and eagerness to learn new tools and topics
  • Strong communication skills – written, verbal and ideally in English too
  • Degree with a business, technical or interdisciplinary focus (near completion or recently graduated welcome)
