BarBrain is one of the fastest growing SaaS start-ups for the hospitality industry. Our tool digitizes inventory processes in restaurants, bars and hotels - efficiently, user-friendly and data-driven. With a growing number of qualified leads, a scalable product and strong references, we create real added value for our customers every day. As a Founders Associate, you will work directly with the management, gain deep insights into all business areas and help shape growth operationally. The role is ideal for smart generalists with ambition, an entrepreneurial mindset and the desire to make a real difference.

Your tasks (depending on familiarization & focus):

You take on operational responsibility in strategically important areas and support the founding team in projects, processes and priorities.

  • Direct cooperation with the management in day-to-day business
  • Planning and implementation of strategic projects (e.g. market analyses, expansion plans, new product features)
  • Support with investor relations and the preparation of reports
  • Taking on tasks in business development, operations or sales - depending on requirements & skillset
  • Creation of presentations, decision papers and analyses
  • Structuring internal processes - from recruiting to customer feedback
  • Communication with partners, customers and service providers
  • Sparring for new ideas, MVPs and decisions in a quick setup

What you bring with you:

  • First practical experience in a startup, consulting or tech environment (e.g. internships, working student jobs)
  • High level of self-motivation, entrepreneurial thinking and hands-on mentality
  • Strong organizational and implementation skills
  • Tech affinity and a desire to familiarize yourself with new tools and topics
  • Strong communication skills - verbal, written and also in English
  • Studies with an economic, technical or interdisciplinary focus (also shortly before or after graduation)
