Can I correct mistakes afterwards?

Yes, BarBrain lets you correct mistakes in a stocktake at any time – both during an ongoing stocktake and after an area has been completed. This way, you can make sure your data is always correct.

Option 1: Correct mistakes in the stocktake (area not yet completed)

Step 1: In the stocktake, open the area where the mistake happened.
Step 2: Select the affected product (e.g. a bottle) again.
Step 3: Change the number of bottles or other values directly in the app.
Step 4: Save the changes so they are included in the report.

Option 2: Correct mistakes in the stocktake report (area already completed)

Step 1: Download the stocktake report as an Excel file.
Step 2: Find the affected product in the table.
Step 3: Change the quantity in the Full unit („Ganze Einheit“) column.
Step 4: The total and other calculations update automatically, so the report is correct again.

Flexible error correction

In the app: As long as the stocktake isn't completed, you can make changes directly in BarBrain.
In the Excel report: After an area is completed, the Excel file still lets you make adjustments.
