Can I correct mistakes after the fact?

Yes, BarBrain lets you correct mistakes in your inventory at any time — both during a running inventory count and after completing an area. This ensures your data is always accurate.

Option 1: Correct mistakes during the inventory (area not yet completed)

• Step 1: Open the area in the inventory where the mistake occurred.
• Step 2: Select the affected product (e.g. a bottle) again.
• Step 3: Change the bottle count or other values directly in the app.
• Step 4: Save the changes so they are reflected in the report.

Option 2: Correct mistakes in the inventory report (area already completed)

• Step 1: Download the inventory report as an Excel file.
• Step 2: Find the affected product in the spreadsheet.
• Step 3: Change the quantity in the "Whole Unit" column.
• Step 4: The totals and other calculations are adjusted automatically, making the report accurate again.
  

Flexibility in error correction

• In the app: As long as the inventory is not completed, you can make changes directly in BarBrain.
• In the Excel report: After completing an area, the Excel file still allows you to make adjustments.
