How do I change my password in BarBrain?
You can change your password in BarBrain quickly and easily. Here's how:
Option 1: Reset your password via the start page
1. Open the reset page:
- Go to the password reset page: Reset password.
2. Enter your email address:
- Enter the email address you used to register with BarBrain.
3. Send the request:
- Click the Reset password („Passwort zurücksetzen“) button.
- A confirmation link is sent to the email address you entered.
4. Check your email:
- Open your inbox and look for the email from BarBrain with the subject „Passwort zurücksetzen“ (Reset password).
- (Tip: Also check your spam or junk folder if you can't see the email.)
5. Reset your password:
- Click the link in the email to go to the password change page.
- Enter your new password and confirm it.
6. Save the change:
- Click Save password („Passwort speichern“) to complete the change.
Option 2: Change your password directly in your profile
If you're already logged in, you can change your password directly in the settings:
1. Open settings:
In BarBrain, go to Settings („Einstellungen“) and select Your profile („Dein Profil“).
Alternatively, you can use this link: Change password.
2. Enter your current password:
Enter your current password in the corresponding field.
3. Enter a new password:
Enter your new password and confirm it.
4. Save changes:
Click Save changes („Änderungen speichern“) to update your password.
Note on password security
Choose a secure password with at least 8 characters, made up of letters, numbers and special characters, to protect your account as well as possible.
